The shower/bath facilities were overwhelmed by the crowd.

$26.50/night for an electric site that is not on the water.

Was a good spot to bring the golf discs and canoe.

It is a pretty well shaded campground with lots of mature trees.

We are here on a Friday and the place is packed with locals, but everyone seems really nice and respectful.

It's a cute little campground, no water hookups but many sites have electric.

We did not have a reservation, and were able to get a site for one night at 1800 hrs.

I recently stayed at this campground for work purposes. The fact that I chose a career that requires me to travel for work allows me to gain experience and knowledge on making reservations and dealing with hotels and campgrounds. That being said I normally only camp on my leisure time. However due to the high hotel cost, my roommates and I decided we needed to pursue other options in worthington. So we decided I would pull my 10 person hard side camper about 400 miles. We made are reservation. I have two roommates, and was told that we were only allowed two people per campsite. Understanding that I am well past the age where I enjoy confrontation we offered 50% of the cost of the campsite for the third person. Unwilling to except the manager finally forced us to pay for a full campsite we do not have use of to stay in my bought and paid for camper. Along with no wifi, no water hookups, and sub par facilities, the unwillingness of the manager to work with us was ridiculous. I will advise anyone against staying there for work or fun.

The office sells firewood and ice. There is a nice paved walking path, a small playground and across a bridge people launch boats onto the lake.
